We hosted an event at Burly Axe with a very large group, and the staff were absolutely amazing. The owner was extremely generous and flexible, and the staff working that night was professional, warm, and accommodating. The event was so much more successful than I anticipated, and everyone had a blast throwing axes. The bar is great, and there are great food options closeby to bring in takeout. I highly recommend checking out Burly Axe -- for a date night, a group outing, or a large event. They were a pleasure to partner with, and we're so grateful for their support!

The staff was great ! Wish I got his name . Really nice guy, not super expensive for a fun night out ! Would absolutely come back if we were local! hoping there’s places back home to try too like this :) had a great time !! Good vibes all around . I was worried I wouldn’t be able to figure it out or I would feel silly learning but def wasn’t the case 10/10

Great staff ! Super fun not expensive at all and if youre worried you'll look silly or feel embarrassed - don't ! The instructors are great and you'll surprise yourself :)

We had an absolute blast. The owner was great at showing us what to do, and after a few bad throws, we started getting better with each one. The big axes are actually easier! This was also a great stress reliever.

First time, my wife gave me gift certificates for Christmas. It was fun and we have a great time. Word of advice, listen to the pointers the workers give you. Great place, great people.

Axe throwing is kind of like darts…but with axes. Well, hatchets really. You don’t need to be a lumberjack. If you can swing a hammer you can throw an axe. Our professional axe throwing coaches will give you all the guidance and pointers you need to quickly progress safely to the point where you can consistently hit the target. Just show up a few minutes early to sign our waiver and be sure to wear close-toed shoes! We have 6 lanes and each lane has 2 targets. **STUDENT DISCOUNT THURSDAYS: use code burlyaxe101 for 25% off. We can deliver our trailer to your location if you have a dry flat surface. Our coaches will train your group and help everyone throw safely and competitively. 2 hour events work great for groups up to 40 people. Events within 10 miles of Burlington include delivery. *Will deliver up to 50 miles away from for additional charge-please call for inquiry.
Come join one of our axe throwing leagues! League nights are Mondays 6-8pm or Wednesdays 7-9pm. Each week you’ll be matched up with other league members for scored games for 8 weeks culminating in the league playoff tournament in the last week.
